Export UBC Workday Excel for this timetable maker.

The UBC schedule maker needs the Excel Workday gives you from View My Courses — not a screenshot and not a PDF. The screenshots below show exactly where to tap.

    Open Workday and click View My Courses

    Sign in. On the home screen, click the View My Courses button — it sits between “View My Saved Schedules” and “View Account Activity”. Do not use Find Course Sections.

    Download Excel — not the PDF

    On the View My Courses page, click the spreadsheet icon (a small grid with an X). It sits immediately left of the PDF icon. Do not tap PDF or the bookmark. Save the downloaded .xlsx or .xls file.

    The icon looks the same on computer and phone. Only the position changes.

    Import the file

    Open Schedule Maker and use Import Excel. Columns are read by header name: Course Listing, Section, Registration Status, Meeting Patterns, Instructor, and dates.

    Choose what goes on the grid

    Nothing is placed automatically. Check Active courses, add Waitlist as dashed boxes, and leave Dropped off unless you need them.

Labs with a blank meeting pattern stay in the list so you can add a time. Need the UBC-specific overview? Open the UBC timetable maker page. At SFU, Waterloo, or another school? Email a sample export and we will add the format.

What to send

    Your school name — SFU, Waterloo, or any campus.

    A sample timetable export (Excel, CSV, or the file your portal gives you).

  3. 3

    Where you downloaded it — Quest, goSFU, ACORN, Minerva, or similar.

You can strip names and IDs first. A real file is enough for us to add one-click import.
